The Chief

This whole place is surrounded by a chain link fence, so i just poked the camera lens through one of the holes to snap this pic.
One of my favorites at the Age of Steam Museum. They really did a top notch resto on this one. Ive seen firsthand what it looked like before it was a rust bucket! It had broken glass, missing parts, nowhere near looking like how it looks now. Wish I had pics of what it looked like before. Im pretty sure this one still runs. Over the years Ive seen museum volunteers inside the engine compartment doing some work.

As you can see the museum's getting ready to move, the old station has giant beams under it, hopefully it'll have a safe journey to the new museum location.
